Lokal glasshandler? (mulig du må bestille fra Oslo)

Local glazer maybe?
I checked the local "glass master" and they said they couldn't do it... I have no idea why... Do you know any shops that could do it on order? Just so I don't have to travel 3 hours and find out they can't

Maybe eBay? Although the thickest I could find in smoked was 5 mm, not 10 (link).

But they do ship internationally, and you can order custom sizes.

Alternatively, maybe 10 mm clear, and then put a tinting film over it. Not sure how good that would
look, but it seems to work alright on cars. ;)

I think the 5mm thick one can work, i'll also save weight. But it's not as sturdy as 10mm. If the 5mm thick one doesn't work, I may send a message to Daniel Cannon (owner of Singularity Computers) and ask if he would be kind enough to sell me a plate. And about the clear, I'm not sure if it would look as good. Well, it's worth a try and see how it turns out.

My caselabs has a 5 mm plexi window (maybe even 4 mm, but certainly no thicker than 5),
and that is quite sturdy, just as a side note.
Yeah but I'm not sure if it's thick enough to be held on place by screws, if it's possible to screw in the panel from the sides. I don't know exactly how i'm going to mount it as I don't know what will work and what wont work.
Blah, my english is off today...

Ah, if I understand correctly, you wish to put the screws into the plexi sheet's edges? Elegant
idea, I've had that one myself (although not for Plexi, but for copper. Too expensive because
you need a very thick sheet of copper  ). You might be able to do it with M2.5 or M2
screws, that would give you 1.25 or 1.5 mm spare on each side of the thread. You would
probably have to experiment around a bit to see if that's sturdy enough, but lots of small
screws can also make for a rather solid connection, you just have to use enough. And be
very careful when cutting the threads. ;)

Hopefully it works with double sided tape :p I don't think i'm able to use screws unless I split the fronpanel apart.

3M Scotch 4010. Holds everything to everything else.

Available on eBay (link) or surely somewhere near you.

There's a vid from MNPCTech where they mount a PC (case, monitor etc.) to a window with that
tape. And then they leave it there for several weeks and use it. 4010 holds.

Haha, saw that episode, genious use. I still have some empty boxes hanging on a shelf. I can't take a picture right now, but I may show you some times if you want

Yeah that was pretty awesome

Sure I'm interested, just attach the pics to the next update. :)

Time for a small update!
After so long... As said earlier, i'll be going for black/white colour scheme. And I have done no progress on my 800D... I just don't have enough space anymore (to have components on the mobo box, nor do I have a clean workshop), so i'll be getting a new case, the C70 from corsair in matt black! But don't worry, i'll only use it as a "temporary" case til im finished with the 800D. :)

@Alpenwasser
I don't have the picture anymore :(

Some sort of "update"
Now i don't have to use a cellphone camera! Finally got a decent DSLR, currently playing with it so i know what i'll be doing :p
I've also gotten a few new tools that can come in handy.
All i need now is some aluminium panels, fittings, screws, plexi, wires and some sleeving, then the fun stuff can start :)

Needed something to organize my fittings.

I got my "temporary" case a week ago! I can now finally work with the 800D after a so long wait. I am going to buy the aluminium probably next week. I do think I got all the tools i need for now, til the sleeving work starts.
And the name "Carbonized Blue" is gone!

I'm going to throw the frontpanel out and replace it with a Vandal switch.

The 360 rad is a perfect fit almost in the bottom, all I need to do is to remove some of the PSU supporting things and a little bit in the front.

All I need now is to finish up the cuts (painting, sanding ect) and the bottom is almost complete! I found a supplier that may be able to deliver some 8mm thick Lexan sheets, so the front shouldn't take long to finish either.

The hotswap bay is a little bit sloppy after the removal of the mid plate so I drilled some holes and used some pop-rivets

Time to wake this log to life!
There's some few changes i have in mind and it is not as difficult as I thought.
I will be modding the whole front instead of only the 5,25" bays to have smoked acryllic.

Did a little bit more work today on the front. I was planning to clean up all the cuts and grind down all the extra "case" that's visible with the front panel on but I didnt find any hand files :(

Did some rough masking, of course I made some measuring so I didnt cut too far.

Even a first grader would be steadier than me with a dremel, time to get myself a jigsaw.

I'm sorry for some of the blurry pictures, I rushed shooting them :(

These cutting disks I bought really lasts a long time! I'm suprised, but they was quite expensive though.

So, instead of making the previous cuts perfect, i'll just find some aluminium sheets and sandwich some acryllic to make the front sturdier.
