Vegard's 800D Project

How are the copper pipes sealed in the system? Olive joints or are the ends flared like brake pipes?

If you have a look here you can see that there are two O-Rings
in those fittings. They're actually SLI fittings and usually you
would stick Bitspower's plexi tube in there, but any 12 mm pipe
will work naturally.

Nice way to go... I see a drill tip and some pot rivet heads.. hmmm...
Keep it up, I wonder who would finish first :P
Thank you, i'm very slow with my projects, so we'll see.

Subbed to this. Nice going there Vegard - where did u buy your cooling bits?
Thank you, I buiy everything I can from Techbay.no

Nice looking build, wish i could afford those bitspower fittings. Cheapest titan I've seen in the UK is $1307, which is steep enough, though obviously not quite as bad as norway. (In theory can't you buy from anywhere in the EU and not face any additional taxes?)

It's taxes after taxes, even if you buy from Europe.
The copper pipes will be connected with Multi link fittings, wich is used for crystal link between GPUs. They have two o-rings inside so hoefully they won't leak

Exactly.

Todays "update"

I've been planning for a little bit now, and I think i'm going to get an USB CD drive and an Bitspower X-station for my fans/pump so I don't use any of the 5,25" bays.
Instead of having the boring covers, i'll swap them out with some smoked plexi, kinda like what Daniel Cannon did in his build "Cytotoxic", build log here

I think I have enough space for it, but I need a way to mount it.

He does some pretty awesome stuff imho. I love his recent vid on how he
packages up his systems for shipping; total awesomeness. :)

Yeah, he pack his systems extremely well. One of my favorite builds he's done is Dark Matter. Incredible easy good looking build.

It's the one in the NZXT Swithc 810 Gunmetal. Maximus V Formula, 660ti, 3770K (i think), AX850. All watercooled and with dark red liquid.

I'm watching the build log right now. I freakin' love the Switch 810, and will definitely upgrade to it in the future, as I plan to one day have a fully water cooled rig :D.

I love the 810 too, but I like the "outside" of the 800D more :p
Good luck with your watercooling and (hopefully :p modding)! :)

My overclock:
I have stresstested it, and it's stable! :D
I did not have any pictures after the 24-hour mark of prime95, so I just took a quick picture now...

Please tell me that isn't painter's tape holding the SSD to the PSU :yelrotflmao:
You know that case has hard drive/SSD hot swap bays, right? If you haven't filled all of them already, put it in one of them. Do that, and actually attempt some cable management, and you'll be good ;)

It is electrical tape actually... :P Only one HDD in the hotswap, but why not show off my OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD? Who needs to clean cables anyway?

I'm currently checking and measuring different panels to cut and glue.
