usb compatibility

hi guys i need a new flash drive and i just need to know if i buy a usb 3.0 drive will it work on my mums old pc that only supports usb 1.0 ( yes its that old). ive had a quick google but i cant find anything. any help would be great

It should do, USB3.0 is backwards compatible with USB2.x, which in turn is backwards compatible with USB1.x!
