Hi there,

I have been having some problems with my new USB 3.0 flash drive.

The flash drive works fine in USB 2.0 ports but wont work on USB 3.0 ports.

I have tested this out on all 4 usb 3.0 ports that are on my motherboard, other usb 2.0 devices are recognized on the 3.0 ports, the flash drive is the only device giving problems.

Should I RMA my flash drive ?

did you install/update usb 3 driver? find it on the manufacturers, also check in the bios, most of the time the usb3 feature will be turned off for whatever reason

When I went and got all new USB 3.0 enclosures for my external drives I had an absolute nightmare time getting them to work. On the maximus IV. Fist they would not register at all, Then when they did register, I would get voltage errors come up in windows.

I reinstalled the USB 3.0 controller a number of times. And this still didnt work.

In the endi I uninstalled all the USB controllers from windows. Left all the USB 3 devices plugged in, And restarted the computer. Eventually windows sorted it out its self. But it was a complete mare m8.

No I'm using a Patriot supersonic 32Gb in combination with a MSI P67A GD-65 (B3)

Thanks for all the tips, I will look into them as soon as possible.
