Urgent problem

Basically, we installed nod32 beta suite on his pc as his current AV was poo. Tried to start Itunes and there was no music in library. Then checked my music - no music and did a search...no music. Then checked my pictures - no pictures then checked my documents...no files. C drive still had the same amount of data stored, games and videos still intact.

Tried restarting, will not log in as it cannot find the profile settings file. Will try safe mode later but more concerned about not being able to log in and missing files. Know any tools to recover them and anything to try to get logged in.

Try a system Restore to a point prior to the NOD32 install?

Sounds like the profile is corrupted mate. Happens sometimes unfortunately

I'd try TOG's suggestion. Also look in C:\Documents and Settings\ to see if there's more than one folder with your mate's logon name.
