Building my new PC tonight need advice quickly as it's allllll ready to go waiting to fire it up

I've run out of 3 Pin Chasis Fan sockets on my Asus P5Q so i bought a 3 Pin Power cable splitter so i can hook 2 fans up from one socket

Is there any reason i should do this? Will the two fans obtain suffient power?

The socket will be powering the two upper case fans on my hiper osiris pc case

Another question ---- My P5Q comes with a Power Fan Socket along with 3 chasis fan sockets

What makes the PWR Fan socket different to Chasis fan sockets? Is it the power it supplies to the fan?????

The fans will both be powered fine, nothing to worry about.

The PWR plug is afaik for PSU fans. Some older PSUs came with a connector for this, however very few do now. It can be used for any fan you like though. I have done so without any problems.
