UPS, Battery Backup and Surge Protection

Hello everyone,
how are you all?

Soon I am going to be upgrading my rig and want to put some protection in place for power surges and outages. I've looked into UPS's before and know how they work, but have never looked into buying one as my hardware has always been super old stuff that I don't really care dies.

Now that I'm going to be getting brand new hardware I definitely want to protect it from any power issues. I've never had any problems with surges or outages (touch wood) but there's no harm in preparing for the worst hey.

So my question is what to go for as I don't really have a clue what to look for. Yes I understand how they work and there's 2 types of UPS I believe but other than that I have no clue. I'd like a unit that combines both surge protection and a UPS.

So please post any suggestions.
