Upgrading my monitor to higher end.

Thanks to Rich_ making me change my mind on a better upgrade solution, thanks.

My budget will be 550 euro, and these monitors are the best i could find for my budget and are available in my country:

ASUS PB278Q
Dell Ultrasharp U2913WM Pros: Full LED
Dell Ultrasharp U2713HM
LG 29EA93-P

This is a expensive upgrade, i really need the best out of these, my pick is atm the U2913WM cause of the aspect ratio, it suits my needs with MMO's and shooters.

I already have a buyer of my current screen or else i couldnt afford one of these monitors.

Update: I see the LG monitor is also 21:9 and 2560x1080.

I use a GTX670 2GB, it's not much but i'm able to live without AA.

I don't have room for triple monitors, and i'm going to hang it on the wall.

edit: The Dell 29inch has full LED backlighting i just read.

They're all IPS screens so they all have LED backlighting.

I'd go for the 29inch Dell if you have the money I think.

Dell seem to make some of the best screens around.

There are different kind of led backlights, like edge-lit and full led.

But the specs are wrong on the site i look, on Dell it says nothing about Full LED.
Another website says it uses W-LED.

Also, the Asus has PLS, is that better then IPS?

PLS and IPS are basically the same.
As with the backlighting, you won't actually notice a difference between them.

The screens you've listed are all the best ones currently on the market, and you'd be very happy with whichever you got to be honest.

Maybe save money on one if you can? If you have the funds available, just get whichever you like the look of more.

I can't really choose, but i think will leave the Dell 29inch as it has lower res then the others.

But the aspect ratio is cool, but i've read that 2560x1440 is the way to go.

So it's basically now between the ASUS PB278Q and Dell Ultrasharp U2713HM.

Also i should notice, i CAN test out 2560x1440 atm as i have add the res into NVIDIA CP and it works.

I also play Skyrim and sadly i can't use any texture mods as it will eat all my vram and it's very unplayable.

Battlefield 3 runs very good, no problems there.

But i will add another 670 in the future, maybe before BF4 comes out as it will be to heavy for my current rig for sure.

Is the LG one of those 29" wide monitors?

If so I would get that. I've seen a Dell that's the same shape and size and I would love one of those. Just like triple screens without the headaches :D

Yeah that's why i wanted a wide one with 21:9 aspect. :D

But i think i'll go for picture quality, and then a 2560x1440 would be better.

Tom seems to prefer the Asus one very much, i just watched he's review on it.

Not sure if he done a review about the Dell monitor i mentioned above with the same resolution.

edit: Wow, i just came across this monitor, and it's supposed to be very high quality, build and the screen itself.

It's 30inch and has a resolution of 2560x1600. Uses S-IPS panel from LG.
