Upgrading a HP P6-2375ea - unlikely new build

Howdy Peeps.....

I've been asked If I can turn this HP P6-2375ea into a gaming rig, on a pretty tight budget of £130... The machine is my neighbours sons who is turning 16 and the budget is the cash he's getting for his Birthday, there might be a little extra funds, but this is currently his limit.

2nd hand parts is a viable option and I can get a R7 265 for around £85, but then that means I'll need to source a power supply and this is where I'm doubting myself...

I've seen the case open and there isn't a lot of room between the PSU and the optical drive and just by looking, the stock PSU looks a small unit and something like a Corsair 500m may or may not fit.....which leads onto a new case.

Perfect Scenario is:
R7 265 or there abouts
PSU
Case (the MSI MS-7778 mobo on the HP is a uATX)
£130

Poor lad wants to play Dayz and other games so bad but his current HD 7450 cant handle it lol

I've checked with my neighbour and the warranty has expired so its open to upgrade :D Ideally a new mobo is to be avoided as will result in Windows which means £'s

A big ask I know, but its surely possible yea? the MSI motherboard should also come straight out and into a new case (although I'm not 100% on this, Dell made boards that were for the case it came in only, but did HP)

is it running windows 8 or windows 7? windows 8 is not tied to a moterboard, although i think new case would be a better idea.
edit
I think that dayz also requires strong cores

Windows 8

Case, say ballpark £30 anything is better that what he's got :)
PSU is around £40-50
GPU around £85

So it should be a straight-forward upgrade of parts yea?

According to Game-debate, the processor doesnt meet recommended specs but for minimum and GD Adjusted it should be fine. :)

He can run Dayz but really really badly, I'm about to TeamViewer his PC to see 1st hand.....

I dont think the Case is part of the budget now.... so could climb a little

with teamviewer you will only see like 0.3fps while he may be playing at 15fps. Also teamviewer takes a quite a large chunk of cpu usage so dayz will run slower

I got him to record his gameplay on lowest of low on 1280 by 960 res...and even then it was quite bad......no good if in a town or near players...

He seems happy with the idea of R7 265 for around £80... but still think the A8-5500 will hold back the frames on his gaming

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but Gaming on the FM2 socket ? not the best idea

Current CPU is the A8-5500, upgrade to a A10-5800K - worth it ?
