Hi all,
I have a dilemma, or at least I think I have and I could use some advice. I think it has come time to upgrade my main PC. I mainly use it for Photoshop/ Sony Vegas and gaming but, it is also used as a music and movies hub for the other PC's and tablet devices in the house. Over the last year I have also been using it to back up my DVD and Blu ray library to HDD's for use with plex and it just seems to be a slower and slower process which has got me thinking, is it upgrade time?
Here are my current specs:
Intel i5 2500k @ 4.4mhz
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
16gb Corsair XMS3 1600mhz
MSI R7950 TFIII 3GB OC Boost Edition
Corsair TX750 v2 PSU
Corsair H80i (Push Pull)
2 x Samsung 840 Evo SSD's 120gb
4 x WD Red 2tb HDD's
Soundblaster ZX
NZXT H440 (AKA The Quiet Oven)
I have no real future thoughts other than that I am not really interested in 4K but I will be interested in the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift (Which ever turns out best).
So, What do you think, is it worth it yet or should I hold out?
