Undervolting problem:

Hello All!

I'm having somewhat of a problem undervolting my Phobya G-Silent 120 Fans:

It seems as they do not start at 5V as they are speced, so I bought 12V to 7V adapters.

Now, 6 of the Fans go to a 1 to 6x fan cable, and the other 4 go to a 1 to 4x fan splitter. Both of them go onto a little fan spreader plate, that came with the Xigmatek elysium tower [4pin molex to 5x fan basically].

Now, if I put the 12V to 7V cables between fans and plate, none of them is spinning. Do the fan-multi-cables not deliver the full 12V? or is 10 Fans of a 4-Pin molex too much?

Thought I'd ask before tearing appart half the system to try =P

Thx in advance :D

Should be enough power. Have you any molex to 3 pin adapters? Try running the 6 separately perhaps.
Do all the fans run with voltage reducers removed?

Ya, the fans glow and run [too noisy] with out the voltage reducer. I unplugged the 6 fans and just had the 4 fans and a voltage reducer... same problem. So either its the fan multi cables or I do not have the slightest idea O.o ^^ Nah I wanted to buy some molex adapters today, but I got carried away finishing farcry 3 =P I should have some from a noctua fan I got in my "running-at-night"-PC but I cant find the box ><

My brother had a 4molex to 3pin left over, tried all possible combinations, the problems lies within the 1->6x / 4x fan cables. More 12 to 7v cables ordered, ty for your help :)
