..Time to find a nuclear bunker to hide in when ppl start turning them on :o

Are they really that bad? I thought the X2 line was good O_o

PS: XMS check your PMs please. >_>

Why do you think Andyson is good? They're "OK" at best, used in mostly Hiper & Ultra products. Wintech isn't that good either. They're used in mostly Ultra & Rosewill PSU's. Some Sin-Tek too.

Now Win-Tact is a different story. They build PCP&C's Turbo Cool models.

Andyson's new unit is probably good, but is it great? We'll see. If it puts out 2kW, well for one no PC out for the next 5 years will use that. Secondly, will it do it with stability, reasonable efficiency & heat output, etc? Doubt it. Their previous units have been "ok," some "meh" at best. This may be a change for the better but I doubt it.

No, Wintech would be just fine for most usres. Win-Tact is quite small as is PCP&C's volume so prices are high. Andyson is perfectly fine. Ultra's X-Pro is Andyson and that did very well. I'll make sure if it's andyson later. So Andyson is better than ok as is seventeam. Most build products based on the companies specs and requirements. They can be crappy but that's only if the company ordering them gives them certain price requirements etc.

Nobody is going to use 2kw, therefore it won't even have to matter whether it's great. It simply has to work till maybe 1kw. Reasonable efficiency? I'd definetley say so. Near 79% if not 80%. I doubt the oem would label if 2kw if it can't even dissipate the heat of 1kw=200W of heat. Stability most likely as voltage drops aren't too large especially on the larger units.
