Ultimate H100 Cooling Mod

You know negative ambient would mean condensation forming around the CPU. Since I didn't see a peltier hooked up or any insulation there, it's a good guess your temperature sensors were either out of whack, or you were doing something funky.

It's a fun experiment to do if you're bored on a Sunday, but you didn't turn the crazy meter up high enough. I would have chosen a 80mm-thick 120.4 radiator with 40 fans on each side, and mount it to the top of a case - Thunderbird case mod anyone?

Are you trolling or being serious ??!!?

I wonder what I'd have to do to get it going properly. After all I had the H100 for 3 months now on a 3930k @ 4.4 GHz 1.2V. A friend of mine gets the H100 to cool 1.22V because she uses higher RPM fans. I use the Corsair SP120 quiet edition - only push.

I even switched thermal pastes, but I couldn't cool more than 1.2V. Are your room temperatures that low or something?

I use the GigaByte GA-X79-UD3 board and it's set to 1.25V in the UEFI but because of the V-drop I see 1.2V with CPUz which stresstesting...

Does anybody use a similar combination and get the H100 to cool 1.4V?

Love it couldn't stop laughing and I am wondering how many people have rushed out to buy the setup, after switching the video off after seeing the fake temps.

I wonder can you use a multiple fan setup to cool your ram too? Maybe some 3x200mm pointing down on them or something!!!

LOL this thread is the thread of 2012 , so many funny things in here
