Uhhh, help?!

So last night I was just browsing the web and watching some Youtube videos when out of nowhere my computer just stopped posting. Everything was working except the stock intel heatsink (don't laugh, when I got my i5 2400 I didn't even know what overclocking was). So now, my computer just doesn't post at all. My powersupply, case fans, graphics card, and hdd all start spinning up just as the normally do. The fan on the heatsink doesn't spin up, and the cpu just doesn't start. It's not a rookie installing mistake, as I haven't touched the heatsink since last year when I build the computer.
Any suggestions?

GTX 550 Ti (570 being RMAed)

Can you plug one of your other fans into the CPU fan header and see if it spins when you turn the computer on.

That's not a full list of specs, seamus means motherboard, graphics card, makes and models etc.

yeah I posted early by accident, no need to patronize me -.-... but I shall try the fan header
