UEFI GOP bios

I recently built a new computer and noticed an "Ultra Fast Boot" option in the motherboard bios. I enabled it and tried to boot, but it gave me a message saying that my discrete graphics card needs to support UEFI GOP (or something along those lines). I'm currently using a sapphire 7950 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026), does anybody have or know how to modify a uefi bios for my card?

Thanks in advance,
Garrett

Just disable that option. I have a fast boot(something along those lines) in my bios option for my MSI GD55 and i noticed it takes longer too boot. I have an SSD so i didn't really need it in the first place. I also have a 7950 but did not get any errors.

Well, I had heard that the ultra fast boot setting could get to the windows logo in ~2 seconds, which I thought would be really neat. It's not the end of the world if I can't get it working, but thought it was at least worth asking around a bit.

Not sure with atiflash but with nvflash you can force it to override the mismatch. I'm sure FTLN has pointed you to the correct BIOS file, but if I were you I'd be safe and double check that it is the correct one for your specific card.

Also make sure your system is set up to boot directly to the USB, so that if after flashing you don't get any output to the display, you can blind reflash the backup BIOS file. Better to read up on the tools you are using and the BIOS you are flashing rather than risk bricking your card.
