Ubisoft's founder is set to buy another 3.5% of the company for around £120 million to prevent a takeover by Vivendi.

Ask Activision Blizzard. Vivendi don't know anything about games, they just want to make money, even if it means driving their acquisitions into the ground. Guillemot might be a complete moron, but I'd sooner have him in charge of Ubisoft than anyone at Vivendi.

Interesting, I just had the urge to look it up. Claude Guillemot who purchased Hercules company and produced GPUs with the 3DFX chipset is indeed one of the Guillemot family brothers

Well, Ubisoft cant get any tier though.... can only go up from here.

I am done buying ANY Ubisoft game from launch - to get a DECENT working Ubisoft game then you need to wait AT LEAST 6 months after the first launch.
