Job 1. Install software for HP Scanner for PC.
Job 2. Install HP Printer for Mac.
Job 1. Took about 3 hours.
Job 2. Took.. a number of minutes.
Content.
Job 1. Already downloaded the HP software from HP site (funnily enough), the hardware was already setup, but lazy IT guy just put on basic drivers and not the software the chick liked "the way u did it for me b4". Easy enough to do, no complications, just the 200m file took approx 10 minutes to unpack, then -and I'm not joking- 2.5 hours or so to run the software.
Job 2. "Can u hook up my Mac Mini to a printer", easy enough, of course the intention is to USB it - which again is easy. But then some numbnut pops in with, "oh yeah for my mbro too, oh and this other one". So went to the stores, picked up a 8m or so cat6, simply plugged the printer into the BT router and ran the CD on the Mac Mini. Went to printer/fax prefs and *it asked me* if this is the printer u want to add, I agree ofc and the job was done. Same deal with the 2x mbpro, and off I went to check on how Job 1. was doing (not wasting too much time letching over the chick in this job aswell as the other). Actually on the 2nd mbpro, I said to here "here u do it", and she did with just a little direction.
Nice letch all-round I guess.
