TV tuner lost channels

Hi i dunno where to post this but i thought here i have a peak tv tuner card and before i could get channels 31 and 30 five usa but now i dont get it at all not even a crackled pic every other channel is fine and i havnt changed anything but the case but it worked before with the new case anyway ive tried the cable in a normal tv and it dont get the channel anymore either but i dont know what could have happened.

MCE but i cant get those two channels on the tv either or on the pc so it cant be the pc or the tuner card or the tv would work i read somewhere that trees growing leaves back at this time could then obstruct the tv signel but ive had the pc doing tv for over a year and its never happened before.

IM not familiar with "MCE?" have you tried re-installing the tv tuner drivers?

most likely the service has stopped for those channels. I work in the cable tv system and we move channels around a bit as well as lose some when contracts cant be negotiated (not often if ever this case) I know about 2yrs ago we moved 5 channels to the digital tier (need settop box) made alot of ppl angry lol. But its all about maximizing bandwidth

if id did understand you correctly you don't get any proper signal at all? if so, there may be a malfunctioning signal repeater somewhere.

I'm with S_I_N on this, I had a similar thing with all the BBC channels in Oxford one time, turned out they'd been moving channels then apparently knocked off early for the weekend, a few days later, the channels came back.

Five USA and Fiver (channel 30 and 31) are still working, I don't watch TV but if there is a program I want to watch I use this.

its a prob at my end i got the cable coming in a windows from outside and if i move the cable around the picture comes on but then if i turn the tv bit off and on again i have to move the cable again to get it back even thought the cable hasnt moved.

you shouldnt be able to move tha cable and affect the picture lol get some proper connecters on it and issue solved.might not hurt to replace the cable as well if moisture got in it can speed up breakdown of it

no each end is fixed but because my mother didnt want holes drilled the wire is lose going through the window its been like that for over 2 years and never had a problem before.

then it has prolly broken inside the cable which explains the moving it and getting pic. I'd replace it and try to secure it so its not hanging
