so i aquired a 40" LCD TV yesterday, and now im wondering about hooking it to my computer through a HDMI cable. i have a mini HDMI out on my video card, and an adapter, so do i just need a regular HDMI cable? or is there a specific cable i need for this to work? and will i also get sound through that hdmi cable from the video card

video card is a GTX 560 Ti

Yeah you just need an HDMI cable and the 560 ti will output audio if you set it as the default audio device in windows.

Resolutions won't be the same as say a 20" flat monitor.. I run a 32" tv and the best resolution is 1360x768.. All the higher options looked blurred and fuzzy.

Check the manual on the TV, it may tell you what the best resolution to use is.
