Turning 3/8 barb into a 1/2 barb

The Maximus V Forumla has two 3/8 " barbs on them. I'd like to use 1/2 barbs with 3/8 tubes so would something like this be what I've looking for?

Or if not this something similar?

Gonna be honest mate, better of buying the EK block for it, i dont think you can convert the barbs, and it'll just make it look bulky and ugly if you could!

im sure someone else can clear it up

Like MrKambo said you are better of getting an EK block for your board. Also iirc the stock heatsink/waterblocks are made out of aluminum which will cause trouble in your loop.
