Tubing Diameter

Hi guys, just a quick one.

Does the Diameter of the tubing used in your cooling loop have much baring on the temps you will get.

I had previously been using 7/16" ID tubing with barbs on my old loop, but recently changed to 3/8" ID tubing with compression fittings for my most recent one. (and off subject i think the compression fittings look much tidier!)

Now my temps seem to be a few degrees higher, nothing drastic, but for the sake of my own curiosity i needed to know.

Any help would be great guys, thanks.

tubing size has very, very little to do with temperatures.
the smaller size could be relative to temperatures due to not as much capacity and
offers a bit more restriction to the system.

but if its say 10°+ higher, there'd be a problem elsewhere. 2°-3° falls within margin
of error.
great question

Are you using angled comps? They seem to have very, very tight bends and use very small id/od metal...
