TTL's Manshed

Only a minor update, but as Im sure any of you real wood floor guys will understand it takes a while!

Finaly finished the varnishing, used a Ronseal hard floor varnish, used it on the work surface too. It doesnt soak into MDF as well but it should seal it and protect it a little better.

Going to leave the heater out there for afew days now to help it harden off before getting in there with the tools!

Missus will be so happy to get the front room back :D

Another painfull trip to B&Q tonight, I dont want it to look untidy in there, its going to be a right mission but Ill crack on and see what I can work out!

I just want a work space!

Awesome work area.

I`d be tempted to stick an el-cheapo, not worth much at-all, pc in there along with other "dont care if it gets broken" pc things, to have a small scale music/media effort in there.

Beauty of that, if u let the thing fold or something, u wont need a heater ;)

Have to instulate the room nice tho.

Ive actuualy bought a 4u rack case to go out there, it will have a watercooled gaming rig in there one way or another too so I can escape out the to play when she moans!

Said before Ive got a 400w RMS home cinema/radio that is going out there and will double as the pc audio too :D

Aye Kemp come on over, manshed warming party brewing ftw :D

That really is starting to take shape.. can't wait to see the rest of it when it is completely finished.

Isle of Wight FTW! Only like 30 mins on a boat and like.. 30 mins drive away from my house :p

Ive been out there again!

Ive had an old section of carpet in the loft for ages, think I brough it home from work when a long time back, anyways to try and make it warmer and easier to stand out there for ages I decided to use it in the shed.

It covers the work area ok so Im happy, also run some mastic round the gaps to keep the bugs out looking for somewhere to hide for winter!

I got some shelving from B&Q so got that up, and started to move all the tools out there and finaly get the computer cases out there too! (kinda what its for after all)

It looks more homely out there now, I like it the more I do to it now, cant wait to get the electric out there so Ive got the pc/tunes and proper lighting!

Still loads more tools ect to go in there, never going to want to spray anything in there now though!

I can see why the missus was less than happy about you storing that in the living room :D.

You could get one of those pop-up booths to spray in.

Nearly done Ghosthud, using an extension lead till I can tie the sparky down, thats a big job in itself to be honest!

Been out there working today actualy, so nice having room and everything in one place at last!

You boys bored of this thread yet, Still got loads more to post over the coming weeks if you actualy wanna read about it!?
