TTL appearing with Linus

Whats worrying is the 2am START for me.........

Man that sucks, any ideas if he can move the time forwards.....Even 2 hours will give you more UK based viewers.

I'm gonna be flat out asleep at 2am, not that I'd want to of course but I struggle to get past 1am just recently.

I'd be like a bear with a sore head if I had zero sleep

Great! The WAN show is still longer than a movie, add Tom in there and this thing will be longer than the LOTR trilogy. Better forget doing anything constructive that weekend.

I watch Linus but I do prefer Tom. Linus does a review in like 5minutes, I can't spend £800 on a GPU based on a five minute review which 4.5 minutes are unboxing!

Prefer Tom to go on and on but at least you learn something.

Linus never really did full on reviews, more like performance overviews and sometimes posting some scores, he's always been mostly about the unboxing side of things.

What he does have is a great understanding of how things work and that is awesome.

I have nothing against linus personally, but his videos just don't do it for me, i cant really pinpoint what it is :/

I don't know some people don't like his videos, I do and don't at the same time. If I have time I'll watch the WAN show, but tbh two hours of talking about garbage is a waste of two hours of my life. Not much talk on PC tech, and more on other stuff.

Well, I'm totally cool with Linus. I just don't like the fact that he calls <10 minute unboxing and overview videos "reviews". As much as I like Tek Syndicate they are guilty of this too.

I love the tek show, they get there tinfoil hat heads on go at it, it's great.
Tom is really good at getting his point across without filling the video with pointless jibba jabba.
I just think Linus is a little too corporate and over professional...

Linus spent years working as the product marketing manager for NCIX so he probably can't help but somewhat sound like a marketing guy. That doesn't automatically make him less credible.

Tom and Linus both know their hardware so hopefully this week will be more about hardware and less about random stuff.

im not a fan of linus he bigs every thing up even wen almost every one knows its junk

i like the way tom goes about it

if he likes something or not he tells you why its good or bad

and he dont hold back just look back at some of his vids like amd , nzxt, and asus im not saying he bad mouths every thing but if it needs saying it needs saying

with his vids i can tell if something is good or bad in a mater of minutes
