I decided to replace the tricools in my 1200 so I bought 5 Enermax Apollish fans. I also bought a fan controller, NZXT Sentry LX
The fans came with auto-temperature control so I cut the resistor off and soldered the 2 wires together.
It all fit in the case perfectly but I have and issue with the controler :
-When I turn off all fans (set them to 0 RPM) and then on again to the lowest speed, it shoots straight up to 1700RPM. Then the speed starts decreasing except on random 1 fan (always 1, never the same) which stays at 1700 for a minute more then goes down like the others.
-Going from higher rpm down to the lowest doesn't do that apparently
I want your opinion now, it might just want to determine the max fan speed but I can't be sure, should I RMA it ?
Oh and I've also been left with 5 fully functional tricools, how much can I sell them for ?
