Ben Collins was the first Stig but when he revealed himself due to drunkeness, the fired him on the spot.

I don't think it is Michael Schumacher and it is just a publicity stunt though this would explain why Schumacher hasn't been heard of for the past years.

The reason why every one found out it was Ben is the eeejit asked an artist to paint a picture of him in his 'top gear atire' for his front room LMAO.

BUT a bloke I worked with at my last job played golf regularly with Ben's dad. Now Ben doesnt drive profesionaly anymore hes got to time to go play with the top gear boys. Id almost say the TG gig is better than a race season.

the only reason that "The Stig" was "outed" as Schuey is that Ferrari wont let just anybody drive that fappiningly fast new car,He is their main test driver after all.Also it gave TG a way to kill a few birds with one stone:

1.Fast car for the time leaderboard

2.a celeb in a resonably priced car(whcih was a pi55 take

You knew that Schumaker was there to drive the Ferrarri round the track, didn't know it was actually his though. Love the way you can't actually take it away from the factory and Ferrarri ship it to race tracks for you
