Time for a tune up

Well when I built my system I didn't uber tune it for 210w I just slapped some gas in and tunned the system to run quiet with r507 but after looking at my temps in occt I think I might need to do a tune up

No wonder I am not getting uber clocks lol

Someone drop in a linky for the OCCT thingy please - just wanna see how I am doing under load on the EXPERT board and never used/heard of this before.

cheers

He Rackem post ur OCCT timings here mate - my rig tells me that at 262*12 ( 3.154ghz) on me x2 4800 (1.65v) that under full load I am running at -16 degrees using me r507 mach.

Also what BIOS are you using to get ur Gskill to run correctly and what are your best Overclocks?

My Specs on r507 Mach 2 - standard head and x2 4800 with PCP&C 850w on Expert mobo :)

Nice work Mav your unit was tunned as well :) probably better than mine looool ummm bios on mine is 6-23 I think and timmings on the zx are

on the zx best stable timmings are as above they will do 260 fsb @ 5,2,3,3 so far with my cooling the way it is best I guess is as above it will run 1 out of 3 3d mark runs but this mobo will either throttle the cards or freeze so???

Mav what mobo sensor software do you use for this, I dont like to use speedfan on the expert board as it crashes out on mine.

Just had a look at OCCT as I'd never used it before.

Great for sinlgle core, but it doesn't seem to stress 2 cores, so for X2 it's a bit meaningless :( Shame. It's got a nice report at the end, and a decent interface.

Good test for cpu's though. I don't know about testing a Mach/Vapo unit though, as every chip will pull harder or softer, no 2 alike really.

Some FX-55/57 will pull harder at a given speed and vcore than another with less vcore and more speed, so it's likd of down to the chip what heatload it will actually pull.

Good program though. Even with one core that's a nice temp under load Mav, are you running no IHS on that 4800? Can't remember :$

I did not know that about the 2nd core not being utilised - so I guess it shows the temps based the same as an opteron or san diego core at 3.15Ghz plus one CPU running idle I guess.

You are corrreect my friend - My x2 does have it's IHS removed ;)
