Thoughts on new soundcard

Hello guys

I'm wanting to get a new soundcard for gaming and audio, and tbh I'm over Creative's buggy drivers etc. Their new X-Fi cards look ok, but are extremely dear here in Aus. I was looking at either a BLUEGEARS B-Inspirer 7.1 Sound Card or Auzentech HDA X-Mystique 7.1 Gold. Penny for your thoughts, all constructive criticism considered an appreciated.

Do yourself a favor and find an XFI card in europe and have it shipped there or something.... used.

Especially if you play battlefield 2, or 2142.

Yeah I have the X-plosion by AuzenTech and it sounds great in games and while watching movies and playing music.

Ok thanks all. I've decided to give Creative one more chance, is there anyone trustworthy enough and able to score me an X-Fi for a reasonable price...I have paypal? Just as a point of reference, the cheapest I can get the X-Fi for is AUS$130 (OEM only) StaticIce

Grats man Just to mention, if this isn't the deal made, Fry's has the x-Fi Fatality Pro for $75 after $40 rebate, comes out to about $85 after tax. I'm too lazy to go to XE and figure out how much that is in AUD

I almost bought it from that deal too. But you have to pay full price at the door then you get the money back later (about 6 weeks).
