This monitor ok ?

I'm looking at the "Asus VS278Q 1MS Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor 1920x1080 - Black" as I currently have an HP W2207H 22" LCD, It's ok but 1080p for some reason isnt supported, Only 1680 x 1050 :-/

Any recommendations ?

What's your budget? I would whole-heatedly recommend an IPS panel monitor over anything else. Even for gaming. The Dell U2412 is a good option. A few members over here have an iiyama IPS panel, which is also a very good choice (I can't remember the name).

I'd say get a WUXGA one instead of that FullHD thing....which is of no use at all.
Recommend: HP ZR2440W IPS panel.

This one. Excellent latency, great viewing angles, cool looks, competitive price. What's not to like?
