Monitor choices as mine died

My Benq 27" 1080p 144hz went a died screen is just black though it does seem to register something is plugged in there no picture I tried on different ports and my sons PC and it's the same issue.

So looking at getting a new monitor around the £350 mark 27" maybe 32" 1080p or 1440 want the high refresh (can't stand 60 any more)

Looking at these but open to suggestions around the price range

iiyama GB2760QSU-B1 27"

The Dell is Freesync but going by what others have said it works with the new Nvidia for G-sync

Ordered the Dell not sure my 1060 will be upto 1440 gaming
I did consider getting the g-sync but if the freesync is capable of g-sync it would seem logical to go that way kill 2 birds with 1 stone

Sure is, just drop some details and you're golden. Until recently I gamed @1440p with a 970. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if medium graphics made you CPU bound.
