Argh another TT thread. Bit of a witch hunt going on here but definitely not undeserved just a tad unjustified when comparing some TT products to other brands, but it's been going on for a while now so time to get over the fact TT make knock off's.
True with the Case Labs thing TT blatantly copied the externals from CL pretty much to the micron by the looks of things.
I don't approve of that but I can not see it actually hurting caselabst much as those entusiasts with the money will buy the origional CL case(S) knowing they have a superior case both in build quality and modularity, only those who either do not want to spend so much on a case knowing they will change case on their next upgrade in a couple years or can not afford CL prices will opt for the TT rip off's. (TBH CL prices are pretty good considering what you get its the shipping charges and import tax that kills it for most people)
The TT/Fractal issue is debatable while personally I think they did directly copy Fractal and they could have done more to make the F51 more unique it is in essence just a plain black box with AV style feet.
If the design brief was to make something plain, black and simple then it is entirely possible that they came up with that on their own without copying, I'm sure some will hate me for saying that but given the simplistic design nature of the cases involved we have to concede it is possible, unlikely but possible.
Other complaints of copying have been unfair because they were/are licensed products and stuff like comparing TT's GPU water blocks and tube res to EK's when nearly all water blocks/ tube res look the similar, or the ring fans to corsair's when antec fans are also similar heck even the bitfenix spectre pro has a ring on it if you want to get really picky.
I dissaprove of TT's buisness tactics and they caused all this fuss themselves but that does not mean I will not consider their products for future upgrades if they can produce a reasonable quality (note the words if and reasonable).
At the end of the day we all know everyone copys each other in every industry everywhere so TT are not unique in more ways than just their "designs".
Excuse the above but I am drunk, yeah I know its 11 am but I work nights I am allowed to be drunk this time of day

I am also bored of seeing these TT threads, time to let these TT bashing threads die off peeps.
Anyway back on track now, maybe due to the alcahol but I do not belive they copied this one.
Infact I believe that after a night out drinking a lady Phantom case ended up in a drunken orgy with a Zalman z11, a Cit Spectre, an Aerocool Battle Hawk and a dirty cheap chinese Golden Field 8231W case. 9 months later someone from TT found the resulting baby versa abandoned on their doorstep and adopted it hence the badge. As this has now been made public all cases will be appearing on the Jerremy Kyle show next week for paternity testing and a bit of arguing etc. etc. there might have been more cases in the bed with them but as all cases were drunk they can not quite remember who else was there.
I hope this clears things up about the origins of the versa.
