I squeezed a bit of AS5 on centre of my e6600 c2d, and i got one of those thermalright ultra-120 heatsinks sat on it which i find quite troublesome to keep still until you get at least one screw in, anyway i visited arctic's website to now find out that they recommend you put a small strip of AS5 on dual core intel cpu's and not a blob in the centre. So i got 200 hours to see the final cool results

any thermalpaste is better than NO thermalpaste. you will fry your CPU (or it wont run as itll go straight to overtemp shutdown)
