Yeah I tried it with normal cotton and boy was it a mess, but once I got some 1mm waxed cotton, 10m of the stuff it was only £1 though, from a local haberdashery who sell beads and girly stuff I was lacing like a pro in about 15 minutes, it took around 2 hours to do all the cables but I found it very therapeutic.

Once you get the initial sequence in you head its a piece of piss haha

But yea I'm more then happy to redo it, just need to get to the haberdashery!

Haven't updated in a while but alot has changed so here goes!!



The changes in this photo-
All new Corsair SP120 Led fans Blue/Purple
All new bitspower multi link fittings matte black
R9 280X= Dead, So using a spare card GT430
Returned motherboard to original location, no more inversion.
Blue EKWB coolant.



New 5m long UV LED strip.



I wonder what it could be?

Huston we have a problem! Bottom rad to mobo is going to be in the way so going to make some changes!!!

Will provide another update once my gpu block and new coolant arrive!

Is it worth buying a Matrix Platinum if you remove the cooler and use a water block? Wouldnt a reference model work just as well?

if you watercool the card then AIB cards often can clock higher and perform better.

Reference cards are best if you want to go SLI/Crossfire but still use air cooling.

Cheers guys. I've still got a few things I need to do but its getting there! As you may of noticed from previous picks I'm constantly playing with and changing my setup. Sooner or later ill get it to theat point where I am satisfied. Lol and then I'm giving it to my Dad and starting an X99 Build.
