Right so today is the day I order my new build, I have the MSI Twin Frozr 3 GTX 680 on the way as I post this topic so graphics is sorted, I just want to check with you guys that everything is there and anything I could change, I can't afford any more than that so please don't suggest changes that will bump up the price, thanks guys

Looks good, but i'd get an MSI Z77 GD65 over the ASUS Z77-V Pro, the MSI is a better board overall and is the same price

What makes it a better board spec wise?

edit: If I got that board i'd have to get a new wireless card as it doesn't have any normal PCI slots which my card goes into, thanks for the suggestion though dude

A nice list indeed!

A question, though - what site are you getting the 3770k from? I didn't think it was showing in the UK yet

First of all, the MSI board is one of the most efficient Z77 boards on the market and is a great OC'er too. Speaking of overclocking, the world record OC with a IB chip was done on the MSI board, which says a lot for the stability of the board. Also, the MSI board looks better imo, but that one is for you to decide.

Here's a review on the MSI that will explain more: http://www.tweaktown...herboard_review

They found the GD65 could match the Asus Z77 Deluxe in terms of overclocking, and found that the MSI was a fair bit cooler too. Bear in mind the Deluxe is £190 - £200 worth of mobo, but the MSI is £50 less yet can match its OC'ing potential while being cooler.

EDIT: You've already ordered it so forget the above

Sorry for wasting your time dude, appreciated none the less. I'm not overclocking it until I see what other people can get anyway

Nah it's completely fine mate. Tbh both boards are very very close feature wise, but the MSI seems to be able to hold OC's at slightly lower volts. Overall though it's the looks that win me over with the MSI board, but it's what you like that matters
