Hey guys,
It was time to upgrade the faithful and lovely 3570k, that had been spinning on 4.2ghz since the day it got installed on a mere 1.150 volt, super stable! But as time moved on and requirements got higher and higher, and the fact that in some games i was hitting 100% load and it became a bit sluggish, it was time to hit the buy button, but before we dive in the new stuff, here is some pictures of my old workhorse.
Spec:
Msi Mpower z77
Intel 3570k @ 4.2ghz.
16gb 1600mhz corsair vengeance low profile
MSI Geforce gtx 970 100ME version
Asus STX II soundcard
250gb samsung, 180gb intel ssd, 3tb wd blue
Corsair Hx750i
And then now onto the new stuff, Throwing its awesome weight around the corner, it is nothing less then the Asus Crosshair vi Hero
Memory was supposed to be a corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz kit as pictured above, but its faulty, the system just locks up all the time, luckely i have 16gb of 2133 crucial stuff around, and it will stay on that untill i get new memory sorted.
And ofcourse we have our new heart, the AMD Ryzen 7 1700
Put in the case
Add all the other stuff back in.
Up and running after many headaches trying to find out what the problem was, note the cheap green memory sticks in there.
Yes i will do some overclocking when i get around to deciding to custom loop it or stick an AIO in, I have parts to do custom loop but need a few new things which works out almost as expensive as an aio, choices...
When the replacement memory is in, i will put a pic in here and report on how it works with some proper memory speeds, i think this cheap crucial stuff isnt helping my nvme drive all that much, but hey it runs!
Cheers for stopping by!
