The Phantom Bee

Thought I'd post a quick update, My lovely 3 Akasa fans that I ordered last week have finally been delivered, so I have left the 3 old mix of fans in pull, and added the Akasa's in push, that is on my top 360 rad. And what a difference they have made, my temps have dropped by around 4 degrees, up to as much as 6 on core 1.

So spending close to £120 on fans does pay off. You just see the price of a single fan and think, that's alright it's only 12 quid, more in some cases, but when you take into account you need 2 for this , and 4 for this, my god it soon adds up.Water cooling is not cheap, I'm sure I have, you all have spent more on WC'ing than you have on your Graphics card, or motherboard even. It sure does look pretty though,oh and it keeps things cool..

Same thing with fittings. Two here, two there, and when you look at your shopping card before paying it's suddenly :o :o :o

Your right there mate, I was intending to use the Monsoon fittings all round. That was until I saw that you have to buy the angled fitting you need, and a regular compression, to actually be able to connect the hose. It works out at about £15 a pop. They are sexy though.

24 blimey, they're not going to be cheap but they are Sexy. I like the look of copper, but when done right. I'll look forward to the upcoming build mate.
