Over the last few weeks its come apparent there are a few vapers on the forums, me and some of the regulars are in communication on a daily basis regarding vaping and fun involved. It's only fair we havea dedicated thread for us to share all our advice and hardware in.

So ill start....

My current daily device is the Subox Mini

The subox mini is a fantastic device, perfect for a n00b such as me, i recently go the Herkales Plus tank to use for juices with a higher VG but i can't find a mod i like to use it with, i was planning on getting a RX200 but i want something that looks alot more sleek and refined

I started with a Curve 2 mini a few weeks ago to give up tobacco totally then I done some research and went and bought an Innokin Coolfire IV with an Aspire Nautilus BVC tank I have Raspberry menthol, Liquorice mint, wild strawberry and Tutti Frutti Juices atm but i'll get a sub Ohm tank at some point as well.

I have a ROK Legend its nothing fancy but does the job well, after all this is meant to be a means to quit smoking not swap one addiction for another. I messed up a week ago and started smoking again after 3-months without a ciggy due to my pc failure which stressed me right out. So start of February I go again.

It had been nice having money sat in my wallet all week.

8 bottles for a 10er posted, have used them quite a bit and always here next day or the one after depending on time of order and when using 4/8ml a day it works out cost effective and tastes no different to any other brands I have tried to date.

my Evic mini a 75w temperature control mod, with a kangertech subtank sat on top.

and again sat next to my old 35w boxmod.

these are two other RDA and RTA's i have. the RDA is the vulcan, and the RTA is the Ego One Mega.

all the branded juice i currently have at the moment.

and this is all my own liquid that i make with a mate.

from left to right: lemon and lime (trying to recreated ace of vapes yoda snot), orange mango stawberry and kiwi, french vanilla and the last little bottle is banana.

I stopped myself after buying my Vamo. Mostly because I wanted to save money on vaping, rather than waste money like I did when I was smoking. I've considered square batteries and building my own coils but if I want to build something I can just work on my RC models.

As thus I have a Vamo V5 with adjustable voltage and wattage.

An Aerotank.

A Genitank for when I go away (already loaded with a new coil).

Two sets of 18350 batteries (one is longer MAH than the other) and an Ultrafire charger.

And that does for me. I've tried fancy liquids but they don't last very long and made water drip out of my nose. I've also refrained from buying expensive liquids as within about four days I develop "Vaper's tongue" and can't taste the stuff any way.

What I do now is alternate between flavours (Watermelon and red cola mainly, but I have Red Bull and Juicy Peach atm too) and change flavours every time I change out the coils (about every four days). This ensures I don't just taste nicotine.

Been eyeing this badboy up last few hours, just trying to convince myself i need it and it'll be here next week

I use to have a Vamo V5 but I noticed I was getting a lot of chest and sinus infections when I was vaping, back on normal cigs I have not had a chest or sinus infection since April last year.

Prior to that I was getting one every 3 months or so, some people have said it could be due to the mixture of the VG/PG fluid, I would love to go back to vaping but honestly I don't know what mixture to use.

i think that's generally giving up smoking, for the first month or so i was very very ill, then after it was ok, i have the odd day where im coughing a lot but it soon vanishes, im not a vape god but i can't see the PG/VG ratio's making you ill, considering i've vaped through the whole range.

Getting Chest/Sinus infections is just that you have given up Smoking Tobacco it does happen to some people matey. As i'm new to vaping i've noticed myself coughing a lot more but that's just the rubbish coming out of my lungs. As for what ratio for PG/VG think of it like this:

More PG = Stronger throat hit

Higher VG = more vapour

It's also worth noting that high VG liquids are best used with Sub Ohm tanks and a Mod with at the very least 30 watts.

Well I have just ordered a new unit which is the one my dad uses which is a Eleaf iJust 2

I have also ordered some Heisenberg 70/30 3mg fluid to give it a try for a while, and see how I go as I would prefer to use a Ecig to smoking real cigs, and if I want to get in to streaming properly it's easier to have a quick vape than mess around covering the camera to have a cig.

Its also worth noting to keep yourself hydrated whilst vaping fella :)

Oh I do, when I was last using one when I was working I was drinking up to 4 litres of water a day, because the office was on average 29c each day from 6am to 6pm all because one person was constantly cold, even at that temp she had a electric heater turned on because she was "cold".

Didn't know anyone here vaped :D

This has become my new hobby since I quit playing counterstrike a couple months back... turns out teammates don't like it when you work them too hard, go figure xD

Anyway this is my baby xD
Joyetech cuboid, mutation x v4, dual stainless steel 24g coils, 7 wraps each :)

how is the Cuboid? i been eyeing that up as well

Bloody epic TBH. Does everything you'd like it to do, the reason I got it specifically is because it has adjustable TCR for temp control, so for example I'm using 317l stainless steel wire and even though it only has built-in support for nickel, titanium and ss316l I can still use temp control by setting up the 317l TCR. It's basically the best menu system apart from the DNA200's. Obviously it still does great in standard power mode, can fire 200w once you do the fireware upgrade, feels great, etc, etc. Great little guy. Quite heavy though.

Youth gets badly burned after e-cigarette blows up in his face.

Anyone ever here of this happening? Thoughts on this? Worried about it? Inexperience and carelessness by the user?

This doesn't just happen randomly, most likely he just bought it to look cool, didn't pay attention to any battery safety, hence why this happened. 18650 batteries are nasty little ****s if you don't do your research; I'd be willing to bet that shop owner sold him a battery with too low of an amperage for his coils just to make a quick buck off a unwitting kid. Or else the kid chose the wrong batteries. Either way, this doesn't happen by chance.

I was curious if this was just random so did a quick google search and it is surprising how many results of this kind showed up. So if people aren't following safety, it says something about these things anyway. You know most people skim over safety things and the little pieces of paper that say "read first". So what is the answer, tighter regulations, which is what they are pushing here or something else. Human nature is always more is better, we do it with everything. This forum, perfect example, OC our everything we can, modify our cars to go faster. Should they design these things so they can only output so much reducing this risk? Its like "do not mix red bull with alcohol" sticking that kind of warning on something just makes the irresponsible ones out there want to try it.
