The NSA file

Soooo I found a "supposed" NSA file in the computer. Both doing research and my own knowledge this is a file that allows the NSA to see what you are doing. This is in EVERY Windows computer going back to Win95. Now it is debatable on what it does, I have been dissecting it and understanding what is in it but these files (advapi32.dll, advapi32res.dll, and maybe advpack.dll).

These are the again supposed NSA files. DO NOT REMOVE THEM! A removal of any of these 3 files will prevent you Windows machine from booting properly. I am waiting to see more info on these files but to give you an idea of what is in them, you can extract them.

To most people they will see nothing important. For me I see a challenge to know what's in them.

I will keep you posted. I personally think it is nothing, but we shall see.

I remember reading something about MS writing some sort of code into Windows 7 (might have been XP) giving the NSA a backdoor into anyones OS. Thought it was just another conspiracy theory, who knows? maybe it is true after all.

This was only known to exist up until Windows XP, are you saying it exists in Windows7/8 and most likely vista?
I managed to find the old replace NSA key program/instructions.
It maybe interesting to have a look at but it only works as far as Win2k.

I suppose this only affects American computers?

Mainly, but all countries spy on each other so I wouldn't be surprised if it affected the chance of them using it on others.

E.G. if they are monitoring a foreign Terrorist group etc and they are in another country.

Doing more digging, the files look inert. I have been picking them apart and can't find keys or any link to any registry of any kind. Most of the files are empty and unzipping yields nothing. Now that does not mean nothing exists in them, it just means I haven't found the tools to extract them.

The real question remains is how will they get around a firewall. IF the program can really be active the NSA would not only have to contend with the Router firewalls but also and AV firewall you may have. Chances are if the NSA wanted anything you will be given warning by one of these means.

I am still digging though. Right now I am seeing if I can replace them with fakes to remove the real NSA files and not have to worry about windows not booting.

I think windows system files can an auto bypass to firewalls. Windows update for example.
