The New Youtube Homepage Layout

So What do you guys think of the new YouTube homepage layout that has been forced on us?

I think it is a total Cluster F*** of a mess.

I think it will really hurt subscriptions, Who is going to want to add a new subscription when they know it will add to the cluster of a mess on their homepage? People will at least be much more picky.

I have even been deleting a bunch of my subscriptions trying to clean things up and its not even making a dent.

I just really feel like kicking someone in their google balls right now.

I know its not just me, Do a search for "new youtube layout" or "new youtube homepage" and choose option for most recent videos and look at how many people YouTube has gotten angry.

I am thinking and preying that with the pushback they will put up an option to go back to old format if you wish.

Yeah it's ugly, I don't want to know what the channels i'm subscribed to are liking and favouriting, I just want to see the videos they are uploading.

Exactly, for instance, if Tim here uploaded a video I would see it right there in my block of recent uploads. Now if he uploads something I have to scroll and search around to make sure I did not miss something.

Now if Tim or another liked subscription puts up a video I dont know if ill even know about it.

Agreed, and the funny thing is: I have had this lay-out before! One day I went on youtube and it simply showed up. Cleaning out my cookies didn't do any good, and neither did logging off. If I'd try with a different computer I'd have the regular lay-out again. I HATE the new one. They should at least give us the option to use the old one

Yes I noticed it. Looks similar to the "Browse" page. I used to use that page all the time until they changed it. The people at Google are idiots. Why change something that works?

BTW, I love your avatar. The virgin marry on the toast, I get it.

New features would of been better than a simple home page change. Without changing to this new layout I couldn't see my notifications (video comments, messages etc..) so I had no choice.

Me no likey tbh.

I've been using it for a while (since it was beta) and thought it was pretty good, very similar to twitter and gives a nice timeline of updates to subscriptions etc

There are a few quirks to it tho but I think it looks a bit better than the old layout.

You can also filter results shown.
