Just saw this elsewhere, don't know what to make of them though, need to see more of them before I decide whether I like them or not.

EDIT

These are early prototypes.

ft04 don't look like you can use a H100/rad in it hope i'm wrong and why 180mm fans in the front just use 120 instead that way i could use my noctua's but that said it does look good

rv04 just looks like a mod gone wrong

I much prefer the smooth looks of the FT04, might look into how much it'll cost, but i doubt I'll be getting one for myself

I hope the final designs are better, these look ugly but they are early prototypes, I hope they bring back the 90 degree rotation in the final design. we shall see. Love my ft02 even more after seeing the ft04

Not my cup of tea. The 180mm fans means no rad in front apart from the odd specialist/expensive option. I know TTL mentioned that there are 180mm rads out there but 120/140mm options seem so much more logical.

The designs seem half baked attempts even at the proto stage. Hope they have allot more planned in the future to change these. I wouldn't be looking at either any time soon if that's similar to how they want the finished products.

Kind Regards,

Adam

I'm sure they'll give you mounts or something for a rad.

Maybe but the case seems to be very restrictive. Only 2 optical bays up front. Fitting rad in top would mean loosing those positions plus no ventilation support.

The front has limited airflow considering the large fans although deep it sacrifices direct air flow from the front and means allot of lost real-estate in case do allow enough air movement to be drawn from the sides.

Top mounted PSU seems dated, means if air cooling all the hot air rises directly through it. Hard drive bays are positioned 90 degrees to the direct I would like. Means cabling from the rear and visible rather than into the cable management area. Plus taking them out may be a pain if you have tubing and the heatsink in the way.

Anyway's, they are only prototypes but some parts don't seem to gel too well and seem to obviously misplaced or designed badly considering their experience.

Kind Regards,

Adam
