Apple's newly announced iPhone was announced with a steep pricetag. It seems like that price may be a little inflated to line Apple's pockets. It seems like they may have struck gold. Read the news for more.

Becasue its like i said, all they want is for the stupid people to buy them to make more money. All this product is for.

We know how you feel. You say it all the time

This product is very innovative, and will no doubt be the absolute best handheld device we've ever seen bar none. I will glady waltz in and drop 6 large on this device and have a smile on my face the entire time.

I really had no idea that companies sold products to make money. That is like a completely new business idea to me. You know, I thought everyone made products to make the world a better place and to give away millions. :)

Of course it's overpriced, I'm not arguing that. You just so happened to state the business plan of 90% of businesses EVER. Get people to buy = make money. Not a new concept my friend.

Note: As a general rule. Don't directly offend moderators, just as a point of advice.

I'd watch what you say and who you say it to. This is your first official warning.

Yea, but companies like Apple feed off of idiocy (not calling Fragtek an idiot, but the way he said it) like that to get more and more money our of your pocket. Prices wouldnt be so high if it wasnt for this crap. The only reason is because people are stupid enough to pay so much for one item. ITS A PHONE, you dont need anything else.

It's a phone with features that are valuable to certain people. Just because you don't find it useful for yourself does not mean that every person that can justify the purchase is a raging lunatic because they went against the opinions you spit out at us every chance you get.

EDIT: The warning is for being an idiot.

OoooKkkk

Apple would have to know what it's doing, they are very extremely business savvy. Hey you can either go one of two ways in business:

1) Charge a mint for goods and be prepared for products to sit on the shelf for a bit; or

2) Sell slightly above cost (covering your overheads of course), and watch the goods fly out the door.

Either way, I think that a lot of peeps are gagging to get their hands on an iPhone and exorbitant prices or not, they'll shell out the dough. I actually think the price is quite reasonable, considering what it does. My mobile phone that I have now on a plan, cost me more than the iPhone...and I know which I'd prefer. ;)

The LG version that looks pretty similar to the iphone will be out in feb in the UK, we're actually getting it before anyone else in the world. Makes a change.
