The Green Manalishi

that colour is so much better with a bit of sunlight, then again most things come alive when in the sunlight including me :)

are you leave the chassis silver?

The candy does pop in the sunlight for sure, but Im not real sure about the waterblocks maybe they might look better once the coolant flows through them but ATM the circles detract from the look IMHO.
The whole thing will look completely different in the end..these are just some test Assembly photo's. These crop circle blocks were really never a favorite among many.

In a few days we see that change

I do need an actual Seal of Approval image I think.

APPROVED! :D
Thanks Dude!

8 hours of painting and 17 coats later, this is results of the first panel and Mod to EVGA PSU Cover. Most of that 8 hours is waiting for solvents to flash off between coats.

Back side was left black and floated silver metallic into the clear coat.. this is direct sun on that.

Mate, just... wow
I seriously admire such builds and I hope one day I hope i will have the required time and money to make one of my own, but this time with more red or purple

loving it! Keep it up!
Thanks Everyone. More updates on the way.

better pull your finger out and stop being lazy then boss ;)

looking good though, should be a pretty awesome build when its complete

do you plan on flatting and polishing the paint work or leaving it gun finish?
Yep..that's unfinished clear coat still in the raw.
Wet sand and buff is next. Just waiting for it to cure so I can tackle it.

ahh righto i thought there looked to be a bit of orange peel on there.

flatting will make a good difference and there is nothing worse than orange peeled paint. so of them bits are going to be a nightmare to flat. which cutting compound do you use for removing the sand paper marks

Been following this on your YT channel, didn't realise you made a forum thread, have subscribed to get more regular updates of this awesome and beautiful build. :)

As long as I stay away from edges wet sanding usually goes pretty smoothly.;)
I use 3M Compound to remove sanding marks and Machine Polish to Shine.

oh mate this is really starting to look epic!
Thanks Dude.:)
