it really was a bummer when i found out its going to be subscription based, i hope after a few months they decide to go non subscription. theres so many games these days that are just outright free to play, and so few remaining that require subscription, even WoW has made a free to play alternative that restricts you to reaching only level 20. even if ESO did a level restricted f2p, it would be a great way to decide if the content is worth paying for. ultimately however, i think it should just be buy the game and then you own it. simple as that.
on the subject of micro transactions, as long as its set up correctly so its not pay to win, more of a "pay to not grind" would be best.
