Hey everyone have just signed up a week or so ago so going 2 swing in2 some posting!

current rig is about 2 ~ years old. It was my first scratch build. I first brought the case when they were first released in 2009 and left it in its box for a few years before I finally had enough money in the bank 2 do it a bit of justice. I'm no hardcore gamer or OCer just like 2 have nice things!

So here goes -

Case - Thermaltake Level 10
CPU - I7 2600k
Motherboard - Asus P8Z68V-PRO GEN 3
Ram - 16GB Corsair Vengence (4x4)
CPU Cooler - Corsair H80
Graphics Cards - Asus 6950 Direct Cu II 2GB x 2
Sound - Cambrige Audio Dac Magic plus (USB in XLR out to monitors RCA to sub)
Speakers - 2 x Wharfedale Pro DS5A active Bi-amplified studio monitors
Subwoofer - Wharfedale SW150
Headphones - Sony XB1000
POwer Supply - Enermax Revolution 920W 85+
Optical - Asus Blu ray writer
OS Storage - Corsair Force GT 120GB
Storage - 2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5TB (raid 0)
Monitors - XFX Tri-stand + 3 x Dell monitors
Keyboard Mouse - Razer Mamba 4G + Razer Nostromo sitting on 2 x XFX warpads Corsair K90

So there we are interested on feedback! I know the case is very polarising glad 2 hear if you hate or love it! Or any other comments or questions. Will add some pics these are quite old so need 2 take new ones only differences are then I didn't have my K90 and I had an internal Xonar card instead of my DM+

Hi LVL10 and welcome to the OC3D forums,
That's a very nice setup you have , congrats on your long awaited first build.
Good job.

Thanks mark3 I see you also have an asus bluray did you ever have any luck actually getting blu ray playback? I found the included software was useless and not much else available

Well in the reviews and occasional forum posts I've read about the Level 10 some people almost seemed outraged at its price

I've never owned anything Thermaltake and haven't read all that much about them, so I can't really say whether the bad rep they sometimes get is deserved or not, but I actually think the Level 10 is a very interesting piece of kit.

And it certainly never was intended for the masses, so an insane price tag to add some exclusivity is legitimate imho (provided the actual product performs accordingly, which some people seem to think it does, and others don't).

I you want your product to be out of reach of most people with regards to price that's your right as a manufacturer imho (so long as you're not providing an important utility service, running a monopoly or otherwise abusing the consumer, but that's a whole other discussion ;)).

I read the reviews before I purchased it and most all of them said the software was useless. You have to use something like Cyberlink to play Blu-ray , I use Cyberlink Power DVD 12. It's not perfect , but it works.

Yeah same here but I really hate both cyber link and power DVD I think they are the most useless bloated software!

I've always quite liked those Thermaltake cases, but for me they have too many surfaces to dust, but I do like the concept. How do you find that XFX stand? Do you get a good viewing angle on the side monitors? I bought a cheap one a few years ago and found that it wasn't able to wrap the monitors around me sufficiently.

Fantastic! I could have them all flat in a line or angled in as much as I want aswell as individual height tilt and rotation doesn't hurt that the base looks like a stealth bomber either!

looks great but the thermaltake level 10 is marmite i personally love the design of it but i know people who hate it also the chambers for cooling are extremely good its the price tag that lets it down :D

@ op you do know that mpc can playback blueray just need the codecs i used to use cyberlink power dvd and mpc nero worked aswell but wasnt as good mpc works extremely well in 3d too...
