The big Argh

So, there it is. white gooey stuff filling my tubes!

Let me start at the beginning. I recently got my self a shiny new PC with a (mostly) shiny new WC loop. After playing around in the dead waters of the reserator 2 for a few years I decided to do some major changes. Go Active among other things. Get rid of ALU among others.

Voila! the following cooling system ended up in my living room:

XSPC X2O 750

2x Magicool 360 slim

1x Magicool 120 slim

1x Apogee XT

1x EVGA FTW HydroCopper 2 580 GTX

Tubing

A cpl litres of High grade de-ionized water (the stuff used for scientific publications).

Feser Base corrosion protection.

I've previosly used Zalman additive with great success (no algae, and only minor staining) but decided to go for the only additive available in my area. Big mistake!

Does any one have any suggestions on how I can get this stuff clean? The parts I most care about is the blocks and the 360's.

Silver kill coils or PT Nuke. Feser Base is not a biocide, only a corrosion inhibitor.

Drain the loop. Add distilled water. Add either kill coils or a couple of drops of PT Nuke. Over time the algae will start to die off. This will still leave residue in the loop, but a greatly reduced amount of it.

Nothing beats a proper scrubbing for the blocks though.

Thanks, any tip on how to clean the parts that can't be disassembled, like the rads and the XSPC integrated res/pump? Currently I'm seriously considering getting a new res/pump solution.
