That shiver down your spine.

It's a weird concept, and I doubt anyone has done a psychological study on it, but it's always seemed a strange one to me that there is music/audio out there that puts a shiver down ur spine.

Not necessarily ur favorite music or anything, but moments within the music where either there's a change in step or lyric that makes it happen.

Got a few I can think of off the top of my head, I'll give some reasoning if I can:

Prince/Sinead O'Conner - Nothing Compares 2 U Reminds me of someone and a time.

Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing Ditto

Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau Along with Bread of Heaven, but there doesn't need to be rugby involved for this one.

The Star Spangled Banner Bit where 'flag was still there'.

SoundGarden - The Day I tried To Live Reminds me of someone I know went through depression, and the change at 'shoulda stayed in bed'.

PropellerHeads - SpyBreak Not sure if I need to be watching the movie at this point, perhaps so, cos the whole track doesn't do it and it's just music.

Jay-Z - Big Pimpin Not really sure.

Catatonia - International Velvet 'Thank the Lord I'm Welsh', especially with the voice, this one brings actual lumps to the throat.

Catatonia - Road Rage This is mainly to do with the voice.

AudioSlave - Worm Not really sure.

I'll add more as I care to remember, I can tell u most of these gave me that shiver when I thought of the reasons going along - pretty bizarre.

So.. I'm weird lol, any1 else got music that effects them at a point within the tracks ?

lol i totally understand that feeling.... listen to rap mostly so doesnt occur that often, but when i dabble in classical music there are some pieces that get you st8 away....

Metallica - One.. listen with video. Hate it. But LOVE IT!

A lot of Hendrix's stuff makes me feel so amazing at the sheer talent the man had.

A few love song... which I shall NOT be posting here. :p

Kop bouncing and singing Fields of Anfield Road.

Trio of bagpiles playing Amazing Grace - even at the bellowing stage, when u know it's coming.
