Thank you!

Ye the blue ones are standard I believe?.. But it's OK because my new build is gunna be black, blue and white so the LEDs match it =].. As for changing them I have no idea how to

.. I think either white, red or green LEDs would look awesome =]

P.S I notice you have the same car as me also

lol

Yeh, I can make a guide for you on how to change them the moment the LEDs themselves arrive as well as my new soldering iron.. the heating element of my old one exploded as I was soldering on my old phone

The car, well it's my dad's, I'm only 16. I just love it though, they don't make saloons like that anymore

They probably never will - petrol is going to cost roughly £1.40 by September..

If I had two I would

BTW what do you think about the red/blue thing? Your black Phantom has blue LEDs as well? Actually nodding towards white. How bright should the LEDs be and where can I get them? By looking at them I think they're 3mm. Tom good sir, could you perhaps shed some light, pardon the pun, on where you got the white LEDs for Hay's rig?

You can easily get LED's at a local electronics store, or failing that eBay. It's where I've got all my LED's from.

To change them it should just be a case of clipping the old ones off and soldering the new ones on. Just remember to make sure which wire is - and + else you're LED won't work

Ordered 100 with 200 resistors from Honk Kong for £1.50 free delivery. That's what I call a deal

I shall manage with the soldering, I love disassembling and putting things back together!

ONE HUNDRED LED'S??!
ohmy.gif

Bloomin' heck! You planning on making your rig into a christmas tree?
laugh.gif

One hell of a deal and at least you got spares I suppose lol

I'm probably going to use only around 15 on the rig but I'll replace the lights inside the dashboard of the Peugeot as well as the normal ones are just that - normal, not LEDs and sometimes, being French, they just burn out randomly

Thanks, I appreciate it.

PS: D'oh.. switched on my soldering iron, waited for it to heat up, started de-soldering the old LEDs and the heating element exploded as I had my face about an inch from the soldering iron itself... Will need a new one I guess, was about time as well. Shame it had to happen now..
