hi guys. just rebuilt my system in a 900d from a switch and i know the weather in the uk has been ace this week but its 12:13 right now. its fairly cool but my rig is idling between 48 and 57. since i have had the thing watercooler originally. it never went above 60 even when stressing. i have changed from a fan controller to individual reducer cables that come with the nff12s. on the individual core temps are jumping all over the place. some cores are sitting happy at 39 the other 4 are bouncing between low 40 and 57. and this is since the switchover to a new case. my cpu loop order changed a little i added the 2 ram blocks and the vrm block to the loop that before had just the chipset and cpu. i thought ram was supposed to run fairly cool and not need wc. i got them as i thought it looked cool so i hope that isnt the cause. my system used to idle between 30-35 so its a good jump. my gpus idle at 26 just like they always have. do you guys have any idea what the issue may be

The only thing that comes to mind, is the thermal paste has not gone on properly. and my room its still 30'C how is it still cool lol :(

i didnt remover the block. only pipes moved. so i dont think it could be the paste. thank you for the suggestion though buddy.

EDIT

i just went into the resource monitor and noticed thata the cpu load was yoyoing and found an application called launcher.exe that seemed to be using a good bit of resources i have ended it. load has plummeted and the temperatures have settle to about 44 on the cpu package. now i have to find out what it was so i can see if running it causes tha heating to come back

ah thank god for that, try a restart and see if that program starts up again, i used to have an annoying prog like that but on my phone kaned my bat in 20 mins lool.
enjoying the new case?

its far from perfect. but its definitely a good piece of kit. i love the doors though. being able to take the door of in 2 seconds with the push of a button and a gentle pull is glorious. the irregular shape of the holes in the grills in my opinion are causing a strange sound. ir it could just be that the size difference i am hearing things that where muffled before by something else. my ax1200 fan is unbelievably loud. it must be going 100% and i think one of the f12s if faulty as i can detect a pulsing sound as well. alphacool dual bay res with d5 mount is a good job too apart from one of them has the mounting holes drilled in the wrong place so i had to make a small bracket to hold it in place from behind. not the end of of the work but that is a stupid error that should have been caught. the uv isnt half as bright as i had hoped haha. but on the whole im happy with the upgrade. i will fire a picture up in a rig gallery soon as i think this will be the final setup for a good while.

look forward to seeing it,
and that seems a bit odd if your 1200 is running at max, you must have some load on it!
