Temporary air cooler?

I'm building my new rig soon in an NZXT Switch and was planning on watercooling right away, but i might have to wait a few months. In the meantime I want to get a cpu cooler for around $30-$50 bucks, good enough for OC Genie on my Msi board (will do a proper oc with my loop installed). So, what's the best price to performance air cooler that won't break the bank (no Silver Arrow or NH-D14).

Thanks

How about the A50, or will the CM perform better? the thing about air cooling is that I can't stand the look of the aluminum, and the A50 kinda hides that on top. Oh and I'm using full vengeance so if that's a problem please tell me :p

Best cheap aircooler is the 212 evo,if you want a decent oc.As JR94 said you could use the cheaper tx3 with a little higher temps(and a smaller oc).

If he's only using OC genie for the moment temps shouldnt be an issue at all tbh. Could even possibly get by on stock cooling, unless OC genie trys to whack up the volts massively for a tiny overclock.

If it's Ivybridge, the chips can usually get up to around 4.2ghz without even increasing the volts, therefore no temperature increase so stock cooling is fine. Because of this, I'd just be going for something quieter and cheap
