Hello people. So I got my rig up and running and tried gaming on it a bit. After a few hours of gaming Divinity: Original Sin on ultra settings (not the most demanding game in the world), I saw that the temperature inside the case was 39 degrees celsius. Measured between the top of the mobo and the rad with a normal in/out thermometer. It's 20 degrees in the room. Removed the side panel and no change. Now at idle it's 28 degrees.
The CPU according to Core Temp was between 40-50 degrees. CPU is now at 4,5 GHz at 1,274v, that seems quite alot. Now idle 28 degrees.
The GPU temp according to Gainwards own program called Expert Tool was 28 degrees. The GPU core is +100 Mhz and the memory is +200 Mhz. Now idle 21 degrees.
I noticed that in the game after a couple of hours when you moved around alot it was lagging a bit, or I don't know how to explain it, the fps was ok (although I didn't measure it) but it was like it didn't update the screen fast enough. Like when you scroll down a page and haven't got the GPU drivers installed.
I've got 3 120mm fans in the front (Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro PL-1 40 cfm) and 3 140mm at the top (Noiseblocker XK1). All running at 12v. The pump is running on middle speed, number 3 on the 1-5 scale.
So I was wondering if these are "normal" temps, what to be expected after a few hours of gaming? Is 40 degrees inside the case alot, considering all those fans? Should I get other temp monitoring programs? That GPU is running crazy cold, is the software trustworthy?
Sorry for being such a newbie, specs are in the sig.
Cheers.
