temp changes on mach 1?

Hi there everyone. Mach 1 has been installed and running for just under a week now having sat unused for ages. The temps have been all over the place on MBM. The other day the core temp slowly crept upto 54 deg c and i thought it was chernobyl no.2 time! Then, just as it has risen, it cleared off back down again. Now my idle temps are about -10 on a p4 northwood. Is the system 'bedding' itself back in after having been sat for so long or is it as it should be?

dood is the overclock good or bad also what mobo do u have

the board is an abit ic7, bios rev 27.

the 2.4 is only at 3.2 at the mo (i know you can hit that with the intel hsf for those who are laughing!) but am having some system stability issues at the mo. lots of bsod for some god unknown reason

i wouldnt worry about it too much mate my ic7 read 200 degrees under the prommie .

Thanks for that guys. Will wait til everything is fixed down, sorted out and bedded in. Might stick some more washers on if the temp is still a bit high
